Rehabilitation for Arthritic Pain

Arthritis can cause pain, stiffness and reduced confidence in movement. Symptoms vary from person to person and may be influenced by activity levels, previous injuries, general health and other factors.

Keeping joints moving and maintaining strength can support everyday function. Your clinician will assess how your symptoms affect you and agree a plan based on your needs, goals and current abilities.

Physiotherapy and sports rehabilitation for arthritic pain may include tailored exercise, education, activity guidance and, where appropriate, hands-on treatment. The aim is to improve movement, strength and confidence while helping you manage symptoms in daily life.

Rehabilitation can complement advice and treatment from your GP or other healthcare professionals. We will provide an honest assessment, monitor your progress and recommend further medical input when appropriate.
